Prompt Engineering
When creating alternative versions of my resume to tailor to different careers, Prompt Engineering helped me out a lot. I first downloaded my original resume and gave it to AI and said, ” I am interested in different careers, here is my resume. Can you please help me tailor it towards the specific career fields I am interested in please?” It keeps all of my experiences the same, but reorders the list of them depending on the job and which one of my experiences seems more important. It also gave me different summaries about my resume to put at the top, so a recruiter can see what I am interested in right from the beginning. What I have learned from this experience is that Prompt engineering can help you so much in enhancing anything you want to do in specific fields and making sure the specific audience in that field is interested as soon as they read the summary.
